Project

Prevention to Improve Vinhais

profile

It seeks the praxiological transformation, through the involvement of the participants, assuming the critical and pedagogically sustained reflection. It uses action research in a constructivist perspective, following a methodological path supported by three cycles (corresponding to three years) that allow the organization of the research process in different phases and steps.
The project has the following objectives: (i) to promote educational success and to prevent drop-out in a context that reflects the awareness of change for the improvement of educational practices and professional development; (ii) develop a set of actions based on the needs of the students of the first levels and cycles of education; (Iii) to design an intervention project based on the principles of action-research methodology; work collaboratively (experts, early childhood educators, teachers, school board(s), parents and members of multidisciplinary teams). The collaborative work stimulates a learning community that shares the intentionality of pedagogical action, listening to the children to analyse the quality of the contexts (room and school) and the consequent creation of active learning. The cooperation between the technical team and the professionals (kindergarten teachers and teachers of the 1st CEB, school management, parents and members of multidisciplinary teams), supporting their didactic and pedagogical actions, becomes a necessary commitment for change.
This collaborative action will foster the construction of praxiological knowledge that supports participatory action, promoting the quality of children's learning, stimulating their success through the timely detection of observed weaknesses and the development of support strategies.
