Last 2^nd of May, at the School of Education of Bragança, a meeting was held with the objective of discussing the creation of an International Network for Basic Education.

The meeting was supported by the Research Center for Basic Education and had the participation of researchers from universities and international research centers from Croatia, Latvia, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Hungary, Romania and Lithuania.

Following the discussion, the main broad objectives were defined, to contribute to share information between partners and support collaborative research with impact on national and European policies. Collaboration commitments have been made and the basis for a guiding document for members have been stablished.
