A delegation from the Research Center of Basic Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança visited on September 21st the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Campus of Ourense with the goal of strengthening collaboration between the two entities. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Ourense, Mar García and several teachers and researchers. From the CIEB has participated the coordinator of the center Cristina Mesquita and the members Maria José Rodrigues and Mário Cardoso.

During the meeting, members of both centers presented research lines and projects in which they currently participate. "Our desire is to open collaboration on issues such as the exchange of students and teachers and participation in projects in progress or future projects that we can carry out," said Mar García at the end of the meeting. In addition, Cristina Mesquita pointed out the importance of a future collaboration of the research center, in the PhD programme of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Ourense.

"We chose to approach this faculty not only because of geographical proximity, but also because we work in the same areas, that are related to basic education (pre-school and primary school) and also social education," commented the coordinator Cristina Mesquita. The issues addressed, said the heads of the two entities, will be operationalized in a specific collaboration agreement.
